Rachael Fights Back
I ran 8 miles today. It’s the longest I’ve ran since my surgery almost a month ago. I have so far to go until I am ready for Grandma’s Marathon and it’s only 2 months and 2 days away.
The first 3 miles were great and I felt amazing. Next thing I knew, however, I felt like I’d never ran a day in my life. The struggle was real, my pace dramatically slowed, but I still finished. I really wanted to bust out 10 miles, but 8 is okay.
And as a giant treat: A light caramel frappuccino with a teeny bit of caramel and whip on top. Because it was FO FREE.

Alrighty, time to adult and get some cleaning done!
